Does a root canal hurt?
The infection hurts — the treatment is what stops it. The tooth is fully numbed before anything begins, and most patients say the appointment felt like a long filling. Soreness for a day or two afterwards is normal and settles with ordinary painkillers.
What does an implant cost, and how long does it take?
Cost depends on the implant system, whether bone grafting is needed, and the crown material — so it's quoted after the x-ray, never over the phone. Timeline is usually a placement appointment, three to six months of healing, then the crown. Send a WhatsApp and you'll get a written estimate.
Can I come without an appointment?
Walk-ins are seen when there's a gap, and emergencies are always fitted in. A quick WhatsApp beforehand just means you're not sitting in the waiting room through someone else's long procedure.
Is whitening safe for my enamel?
Professionally supervised bleaching doesn't strip enamel. Sensitivity for a couple of days is the common side effect and it fades. What isn't safe is an unsupervised kit bought online at an unknown concentration. Existing cavities and gum disease are treated first.
At what age should a child first see a dentist?
Around the first birthday, or whenever the first tooth appears. Early visits are short, friendly and mostly about looking — which is how a child learns that a dental chair isn't frightening.
Which languages are spoken at the clinic?
Punjabi, Hindi and English. Explain your problem in whichever one comes naturally.
